For over 10 years the Prayer Group’s mission has been to share the teachings of the Gospel and the teachings of the Catholic Church to the Hispanic community, and through this teachings help them to grow spritualy. With the help of our coordinator, Huberto Vazquez, we worship God through music, and prayer, and we reflect on the Word of God. We gather every Tuesday, starting with Holy Mass in the church at 6:00 p.m., and then from there head to the lyceum hall until 9:00 p.m.

 
In addition to our weekly meetings we offer various opportunities for spiritual growth throughout the year, which include:

• Retreats
• Talks given by missionary guests
• “Life in the Spirit” seminars- 7 week workshop which helps the individual to grow in his/her personal communication with God.
• Vigils every First Friday of the month
• Rosary every Saturday at 5:00 a.m., except for the First Saturday of the month.

Por más de 10 años la misión del grupo de oración ha sido y sigue siendo compartir las enseñanzas del evangelio y las enseñanzas de la iglesia católica a la comunidad hispana, y a través de esta enseñanza ayudar a que crezcan espiritualmente. Con ayuda de nuestro coordinador, Huberto Vásquez, alabamos a Dios a través de alabanzas y oración, y también reflexionamos sobre las Sagradas Escrituras. Nos reunimos todos los Martes comenzando con la Santa Misa a las 6:00 p.m. en el templo y después nos reunimos en el salón del liceo hasta las 9:00p.m.

 

Aparte de nuestras reuniones semanales ofrecemos varias oportunidades de crecimiento espiritual a lo largo del año, las cuales incluyen:

• Retiros
• Charlas de invitados misioneros
• Seminarios “Vida en el Espíritu” – cursos de 7 semanas que ayudan al individuo a crecer en su comunicación personal con Dios.
• Vigilias cada primer viernes del mes
• Rosario todos los sábados a las 5:00 a.m., excepto el primer sábado del mes
